The company

A Canadian engineering organization for products that have to exist in the world.

Avarix Technologies was formed to close a gap that founders, product leaders and manufacturers keep walking into: hardware in one building, firmware in another, cloud somewhere else, an AI vendor on a slide, and nobody accountable for the product. We are one engineering team. The stack is the work.

One throat to choke, on purpose

Accountability is a feature. If the device, the firmware and the platform disagree, that is our problem to structure — not yours to referee between vendors.

Canadian-led, globally operable

Project leadership, documentation and commercial context sit in Canada. Delivery can include distributed specialists. We work with Canadian companies and with international teams that need a North American engineering partner.

Intellectual property is not a vibe

Work is done in named repositories, with access control, and with assignment and confidentiality treated as default engineering hygiene — not a legal afterthought.

No theatre

We will not invent logos, metrics or certifications to look established. The site’s selected work is labelled as representative until real engagements are published. Trust is cheaper to keep than to fake.

Canada

What “Canadian engineering” means here

  • Local project leadership and a working-hours overlap with North American teams.
  • Documentation and communication that can survive a board, a bank, a partner, or a regulator — without pretending we are a law firm.
  • Awareness of Canadian commercial and R&D context, including that some clients will care about SR&ED-ready evidence. We do not sell tax credits.
  • Ability to work with global manufacturers, cloud regions and specialists without losing the plot.

What happens if you contact us

  1. 01

You talk to an engineer, not a disguised sales script.

  2. 02

We decide together whether Avarix is the right shape of team.

  3. 03

We enter at the AXIS station the product actually needs — discovery, prototype, or a full development program.

  4. 04

You receive working systems and a design history, not a pile of unread decks.

An engineer will read it. If we are the wrong team, we will say so.
